1 Hideki's Minecraft World Data
\r
2 This is save data file for Minecraft.
\r
4 You will need to copy the data to "saves" directory found on your AppData, for example, on Windows 7, it is:
\r
5 C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves\.git\objects\pack
\r
7 ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft
\r
9 If you have World1 or World2, you may want make symbolic links (it is called Junction Point on Windows NTFS filesystem) which would point to appropriately named directories.
\r
10 There are two worlds in this set, one named World1, and other one named hClippr. Latter is actively developed.
\r
12 Some area highlights:
\r
13 - Floating city structure, complete with multi-story building, event-hall style hall with overhead catwalks. There's also a tower, and underground mining facility. MG Forge gives you unlimited supply of stones, but slow... (basically dropping a lava into water, which then you can mine.)
\r
14 - Japanese school style structure, four stories, with roof access. Also with the field in front of it.
\r
15 - Hotel style structures with multiple bedrooms as well as lobby.
\r
16 - Residential structures, each with different styles.
\r
17 - Many towers, each with different styles.
\r
18 - Skybridge connects both side of the sound, and the floating city.
\r
19 - If you are up for vacation, there's vacation house with great oceanview as well.
\r
20 - Breathtaking observation deck on the top of the mountain!
\r
23 - Commit prior to dae5fb4a6037650cb7c0 will only work out of the box before the version 1.3 – or you will need to convert the file first.
\r
24 - Whatever you do to the map will change structure of file, and considering they are binary files, I'm not very positive you'll be able to merge files once you make changes to your local copy. (probably not.) If you are planning to play around with the level, but still want to keep record of your changes, I recommend you fork the project into your own. If you want merge it anyways, do it at your own risk.
\r
25 - Considering each commit will add approximately one additional megabyte to the file (depending on how drastic changes there are in the revision), I'm not sure how long it'll take until I hit GitHub's storage limit, if that happens, I don't know what to do...you can perhaps donate me few dollars so I can move onto another tier with higher storage limit, if you are interested seeing development well beyond GitHub's storage limit :-)
